2019 Summer French Camp
for campers 4-12 years old

June 17-21 & June 24-28
In cooperation with the Alliance Française of Milwaukee

Madison’s French Camp for Youth was founded in 1999 by a native-born Frenchwoman. Designed for children ages 4-12, Madison’s French Camp for Youth teaches French through various themes from the Francophone world.  Based on interactive stories, French Camp uses songs, crafts, games, snack time, and role play to develop interest, instill confidence, and provide opportunities for campers of any language level. No previous background in French is required. Native or near-native French-speaking children are also welcome!

JUNE 17-21  Fantôme à Paris !

The Phantom of the Opera is here… in la Ville lumière! Join us as we chase Christine, a beautiful opera singer, and the Phantom, a mysterious masked man, throughout Paris. The Phantom has stolen Christine from the Opera Garnier to try to win her heart, but he has no idea they’re being followed! Campers will learn about several famous monuments in Paris, including Notre Dame cathedral and the Eiffel Tower, as we discover the fate of the Fantôme de l’Opéra.

JUNE 24-28 Pirates Français des Caraïbes

Ohé ! (Ahoy!) Get ready for an adventure on the Caribbean Sea, as we join famous French pirates from history on their quest for treasure! Campers will love being part of the pirate crew as we follow the treasure map in hopes of finding gold and jewels. But we’re not the only ones searching; the Spanish pirates are doing their best to beat us to it! Will we discover the buried treasure…or walk the plank?
